There is something truly special about owning an original piece of art created just for you. Every commission through RJ Collective is a collaboration — a conversation between your vision and my creative process. Together, we shape colour, texture, and emotion into something uniquely yours.
As an Oxfordshire-based artist, I specialise in abstract fluid art, mixed media, and resin-enhanced pieces that blend organic flow with refined detail. Each commissioned artwork is created by hand in my studio using archival-quality materials, ensuring your piece remains as vivid and captivating as the day it was poured. Find out more about my art and inspiration in the About Me section.

A commission allows you to be part of the creative journey — to choose the size, palette, energy, and finish that resonate most deeply with your home or workspace. Whether you want to complement an interior scheme, mark a special occasion, or invest in a one-of-a-kind centrepiece, your artwork will be designed around you and your story. From the first discussion to the final varnish or resin coat, every stage of the process is guided by care and intention. I’ll keep you updated with progress as your artwork comes to life, ensuring it feels as meaningful as it looks.
If you’re ready to begin your bespoke commission, you can secure your place in the studio schedule by placing a deposit, product information below. Once received, I’ll contact you personally to discuss your ideas and guide you through the next steps.
Commission Status: Currently Open
Commissions are now open for a limited number of bespoke paintings from RJ Collective. As my studio space is small and each piece is created by hand with care, availability is limited — once the current slots are filled, the commission diary will temporarily close.
If you’d like to secure a space in the next creative cycle, you can reserve your commission with a small deposit. This confirms your place in the commissions calendar and will be deducted from the total. Once your quote and design are agreed, 50% of the remaining balance is due before work begins and the final 50% prior to dispatch or collection.
The Process
Each commission follows a simple, personal process designed to make the experience relaxed, creative, and transparent from start to finish.
1. Consultation & Concept
Once your deposit is received, we’ll begin with a friendly consultation — by message, email, or call — to discuss your ideas. Together, we’ll explore your desired palette, size, energy, and atmosphere, ensuring your artwork reflects your vision and space perfectly.
2. Palette & Composition Planning
I’ll develop a colour palette and concept based on our discussion. You’ll have the opportunity to review these before I begin painting, so you can feel confident about the tones and balance of your bespoke piece.
3. Creation in the Studio
Your artwork is then created in my Oxfordshire studio using professional-grade materials and techniques refined through practice and exploration. Each layer is carefully poured, shaped, and finished to bring your chosen feeling and movement to life.
4. Drying, Finishing & Framing
Once your piece has fully cured, it is sealed with varnish or resin, depending on the desired finish and texture. Each artwork is signed and dated, then fitted with professional-grade hanging fixtures. If you wish, your piece can be mounted in a custom floating frame to not only protect the piece, but to also complement your interior and enhance its presentation. Every commissioned artwork also includes a provenance card and certificate of authenticity, confirming its originality and ensuring its place in the RJ Collective archive for years to come.
5. Delivery & Legacy
When your artwork is complete, you’ll have the option to preview photos of the finished piece before it’s shipped — though many clients prefer to keep it a surprise until it arrives. Once approved, the remaining balance becomes due prior to shipping or collection. Your artwork will then be carefully packaged, insured, and dispatched to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. Each commissioned piece then becomes part of the RJ Collective Legacy Gallery — a growing collection of original works created through collaboration, trust, and shared vision.
Whether you’re commissioning your first original artwork or expanding a well-established collection, RJ Collective welcomes you with an open, collaborative approach. My goal is to make commissioning fine art a joyful and inspiring experience — one where creative dialogue and trust bring something truly original to life.

Every RJ Collective commission begins with a conversation — about colour, emotion, and the kind of energy you want your artwork to bring into your space.
You can choose from a range of canvas sizes to suit your home or business, from intimate statement pieces to large-scale works designed to anchor a room. Each piece is created using professional-grade materials, ensuring long-term quality and a finish worthy of exhibition display.
