Secure your place in the RJ Collective commissions calendar with this non-refundable deposit. It confirms your booking and covers initial consultation, design development, and materials preparation for your bespoke artwork.

Each piece is individually created by Rebecca-Jayne, inspired by your chosen palette, story, or emotion whilst maintaining her signature artistic freedom and style.

This deposit forms part of the total commission cost and will be deducted from the final balance. Once your quote and design are confirmed a further 50% (of the balance, less the £100 deposit) is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due before dispatch or collection.

Commission Deposit Terms

Each piece is created with care and individuality – no two paintings are ever identical. This process helps protect my time and materials whilst also ensuring that you receive a unique artwork designed just for you.

  1. Deposit Requirement
    • A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure your commission slot.
    • Work on your piece will not begin until the deposit has been received.
  2. Balance Payment
    • Once we have agreed requirements a formal quote will be issued with all the details, at this stage 50% of the remaining balance is due before work begins.
    • The final 50% will be due once your artwork is complete and ready to ship/collect.
    • Payment must be made in full before dispatch.
  3. Customisation & Approval
    • Commissions are bespoke creations, and each piece is a one-of-a-kind artwork.
    • I will work closely with you to agree a colour palette and size. Progress updates may be shared, but please allow artistic freedom within the agreed brief.
  4. Timeframe
    • Estimated completion time will be provided at booking and may vary depending on drying times, resin curing, and my studio schedule.
  5. Cancellations
    • The deposit is non-refundable if you choose to cancel after booking.
    • In the unlikely event that I am unable to complete your commission, your deposit will be refunded in full.
  6. Shipping
    • Shipping costs will be confirmed at the time of final payment.
    • Artwork will be carefully packaged and insured where applicable.
  7. Ownership & Copyright
    • All commissioned works remain the intellectual property of the artist, Rebecca Jayne Collective.
    • The client owns the physical artwork but not the reproduction rights.

Every RJ Collective piece begins with a story – an idea born from colour, emotion, texture, flow and movement. Created by Rebecca Jayne in her Oxfordshire studio, these works explore the meeting point between freedom and control, nature and feeling.
