Frozen Reverie is a visual meditation on introspection and reflection – a moment where time seems to stand still. Inspired by the quiet clarity of winter light, this piece captures the stillness found in pause, when thought and feeling settle into balance.
Soft layers of blue, grey and white flow across the surface, merging and separating like shifting clouds over frozen water. The pour was guided with deliberate restraint, allowing the paint to move freely while maintaining compositional harmony – a dance between control and surrender. Metallic pigments add delicate highlights, glinting like frost beneath pale light.
At its heart, this piece is about self-reflection – the quiet space between moments where clarity begins to form. It invites the viewer inward, to contemplate their own frozen reveries and find calm in the stillness between thought and renewal.
Currently part of the Studio Preview, Frozen Reverie is intended for inclusion in the Exhibiting Gallery collection. Once complete, it will be submitted for public exhibition and sale, where its interplay of greens and blushing tones will debut as a statement of harmony, evolution, and quiet strength.
