Azure Wave

Azure Wave captures the moment where intuition meets movement — a study in colour, energy, and surrender. Swirls of turquoise, cobalt, and ultramarine converge across the circular 30 cm canvas, creating a hypnotic sense of motion that mirrors the rhythm of the sea. Every shift of tone feels like a breath — calm, fluid, alive.

Originally born from experimentation, this piece became a turning point in the artist’s process — one of the first tests of pigment mixing that revealed unexpected harmony between chaos and control. The flowing composition radiates clarity and balance, while silver highlights shimmer like light refracting through water, softening the transitions between each shade.

Though imperfect in its resin finish, Azure Wave remains a defining work within the Exploration Series — a testament to discovery and the beauty of learning through creation. It embodies RJ Collective’s signature “emotion in motion,” celebrating flow, reflection, and the transformative journey from experiment to expression.
